Hans de Ree is an employee of KLM Health Services. As such he among others acted as the author of a scientific study on »Health risk assessment of exposure to TriCresyl Phosphates (TCPs) in aircraft« that was published in September 2014. As with other similar studies conducted on behalf of the aviation industry or airlines in the past the methodology used is questioned by experts. The publication of this particular study in Elsevier’s publication »NeuroToxicology« triggered harsh criticism from other scientists, that was mainly ignored by the publisher.
